SMI is a development stage company that has developed a safety syringe with a retractable needle feature that appears to be far superior than any other safety syringe available in the market place today. In June 2003 Syringex received FDA clearance to manufacture and market its safety syringe.
SMI anticipates manufacturing and marketing of the syringe to commence during 2006.
